Glatfelter Insurance Group Key programs administered: home health care, hospice, public entities, various emergency services Specializing spurs success at Glatfelter Insurance Group Special districts, hospice and community care organizations, nonprofit emergency service organizations, car wash owners, public entities: these are the select special market segments for which Glatfelter Insurance Group is recognized as one of the top 25 privately-owned agencies in the United States. Now more than a half-century old, the Glatfelter organization specializes in program administration. President and CEO Tony Campisi describes Glatfelter’s successful program operations this way, “As program managers and industry specialists, our goal is to develop tailored coverages supported by a level of service that exceeds customers’ expectations, particularly in the area of claims handling. With our responsive coverages, timely and considerate claims handling, and with our top-rated carriers and exceptional service, agents placing business in one or more of our programs can take comfort in knowing they’re providing their customers with a high quality insurance program dedicated to service, stability, and long-term relationships.” Glatfelter’s Rural Special Districts Insurance Services program provides customized property and liability insurance coverage for firms who treat, distribute, or store water. When insuring water, sewer, irrigation, and conservation districts, nearly 500 agents throughout the United States rely on the experience that has made Glatfelter the industry leader in this market segment. Another program managed by Glatfelter is Hospice and Community Care Insurance Services (HCCIS). HCCIS offers specialized property and casualty insurance coverages to meet the unique exposures associated with hospice, home health, and various other community care organizations. According to Tony Campisi, “We take care of the unique risk management needs of these important organizations so they can take care of others.” In nonprofit emergency service organizations, both volunteer and career emergency responders regularly go the extra mile to help others. To address this market, the VFIS (formerly known as Volunteer Firemen’s Insurance Services) program—Glatfelter’s most well known program—was established in 1969 and is the leading insurance provider for nonprofit fire and EMS organizations. VFIS also provides education and training programs for emergency responders, including seminars, safety videos and printed materials. The goal of VFIS is to protect those men and women who are dedicated to protecting the lives and properties of others. Through its Insurancenter division, Glatfelter Insurance Group is an industry leader in supplying tailored property and casualty insurance coverages for self-serve and exterior car wash businesses. And with its Public Risk Insurance Made Easy (PRIME) program, Glatfelter has expanded its product offerings to deliver integrated property and liability coverages for small- to mid-sized municipalities, including public officials and law enforcement liability. When asked about the key element of the company’s success, Campisi credits the dedicated employees of Glatfelter. “A major reason why Glatfelter Insurance Group has grown to serve more than 25,000 clients in 50 states and in Canada is our employees’ passion for delivering excellent service. We convey an attitude that says agents and their customers deserve the best coverage and service available. That kind of attitude,” he says, “can’t help but build solid relationships and trust. At Glatfelter Insurance Group, we are committed to exceeding our customers’ expectations.” *
