We can normally provide an initial response within three days and our PA can be writing business in as little as three months. Like Cuthbert Heath, the Lloyd’s underwriter who rose to fame at the time of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, we like to ask “why not?” rather than “why?” We are always willing to consider policy forms suggested by the PA and impose no minimum premium volume requirements.

Where the rubber hits the road

Claims service is the product that all insurers sell (even if some are curiously shy about admitting it). At Beazley, we believe that the broadest and most up-to-date policy form is of no value without claims service of comparable quality. For program business, we see claims as offering a “moment of truth” in which the PA-client relationship can be cemented—or sunk.
