RISC Adds Chief Sales Officer
Shawn Fabors recently joined RISC as Chief Sales Officer having worked in the financial services and insurance industry since 1992.
Prior to joining RISC, Shawn served as the Territory Sales Director of a leading national property and casualty insurance company. During his tenure, Shawn was consistently ranked in the top 10 percent of his peer group nationally for new business growth and renewal retention. He also held nominated positions on advisory groups providing insight and ideas to the Executive Management Team.
Shawn began his insurance career in 1998 working for a large well-known international property and casualty insurance carrier. The first seven years he held positions of Branch Manager and Business Development Manager of the Premium Finance Operation. Ultimately, he was promoted to the Regional Manager of Financial Institutions. Shawn also spent two years as a Senior Broker for a national wholesale insurance brokerage firm based in Dallas.
Shawn is a 1992 graduate of Northeastern State University with a BA in Finance. He resides in Plano, TX and enjoys golfing and boating.

Rob Arnold, CIC, has been named President of Myron Steves
Rob has been a member of the Myron Steves management team since 1995 and has also served as Director of Business Development, Chief Operating Officer, and a member of the Executive Committee. His career spans over 30 years in the Texas Insurance industry and he has held several management positions with MGA, retail, and standard company operations. Rob has previously served on the TSLA Board of Directors from 2004-2007, Board of Directors Houston Independent Insurance Agents 1998-2001, and two terms as the President of the Texas Chapter of CIC 1998-2001.

"RISC is pleased to announce the hiring of Martin Sommers to their Brokerage team. Martin brings with him 25+ years in the Casualty brokerage arena starting with Employers Casualty and worked subsequently with a couple Wholesale Operations in Dallas.
In addition, we would like to announce the promotion of Mike Lehde to Senior Vice President and Jack Bailey to Vice President.
Mike started in the Brokerage department with RISC in 2003 and has achieved many individual as well as Company goals during that time. His clients know that when they deal with Mike they are getting a very competent, service oriented individual who is always available for their needs.
Jack Bailey started his career with RISC in 2002 immediately following his graduation from Baylor University. After a six month stint abroad assisting Brokers at Lloyds of London, he has since been working in the Transportation Department learning the many nuances of that field. He is very conscientious, service oriented and works well with others.

Wiedemann will report to Geo. F. Brown & Sons, Inc. President Mark J. Strong and will have responsibility for cultivating current and new relationships with retailers throughout the greater Chicagoland area. One of his top priorities will be to target the needs of regional and national brokerages where we have tremendous opportunities to grow.

Wiedemann resides in Northbrook, IL with his wife, Deanna, and two daughters Rachel (9) and Kate (6).
