QualCorp, Inc.

QualCorp, Inc., a privately held company located in Valencia, California, was founded in 1992. With customers such as Lexington Insurance Company, QBE Of The Americas, and Global Hawk Insurance Company, QualCorp addresses the unique business needs of large insurance carriers to mid-size MGAs. “Having serviced the insurance industry for these past 15 years, our staff possesses the necessary experience to bring new customers to market faster than our competitors and to maintain the ever-changing needs of our client base,” says Allen Beggs, president of QualCorp. “QualCorp, Inc., maintains a full testing environment to duplicate a customer’s environment prior to new software being deployed to our customers.”

QualCorp’s flagship product, FormsPlus.Net, is a LAN/Web-based policy issuance/administration solution. FormsPlus.Net was designed to automate any line of business, such as personal/commercial and workers compensation policies, and all of their subsequent transactions, for any carrier in all 50 states. The company’s .Net distribution tool affords customers the ability to distribute different policy sets to different locations over the Internet. FormsPlus.Net imports data from various rating partners via an XML stream, and exports data via XML to insurance companies for statistical reporting, accounting and claims.

“With this latest R&D effort by QualCorp, Inc.,” reports Beggs, “FormsPlus.Net satisfies the requirements of the most demanding enterprise clients in America.”

For the first time in its 15-year history, QualCorp, Inc., will soon release a state-of-the-art design tool kit—PagePlus. This tool kit is the next generation of QualCorp’s internal forms design module that has been successfully used to automate more than 80 carriers’ paper within the personal, commercial and workers compensation arenas. PagePlus will allow users to import or design their own forms, whether ISO, NCCI, or proprietary, and to place fields directly on the document while mapping XML data directly to the appropriate fields—without programming logic. The forms can be produced in either a Microsoft Word or an Adobe PDF format.

In mid-2007, QualCorp released a new product called QueryPlus. “QueryPlus,” according to Beggs, “is a reporting tool that allows our customers to pull data and create complex reports without writing one query or understanding anything about data structure. QualCorp, Inc., has already had tremendous success with its QueryPlus Agency Management products, which are designed to report off of the most popular agency management products offered.”

Roughly four years ago, a current customer encouraged QualCorp to become connected with the Target Markets Program Administrators Association. “As a Vendor member,” said Beggs, “we have developed great relationships with both carriers and program managers. Membership in the association gives us an excellent opportunity to meet up with some of our current and prospective customers. We commend and appreciate the association’s leadership, who works hard to get all of us involved in all aspects of our national conferences.” →

“We have used the FormsPlus product for over three years and the integration with our commercial lines rating system from ISO - Ascendant One is now seamless. QualCorp’s knowledgeable business analysts and developers were able to move our project forward.”
