APT SEMCI PRODUCTS
FOR EVERY CARRIER,
AGENCY & NETWORK

APT products, which are available from virtually all agency automation vendors, are based upon ACORD Standards, support personal and commercial lines and accommodate both the ACORD Action Flag and Full Image change processing conventions. All software is network independent, which permits use of popular industry alternatives, including the Internet, intranets, AT&T, iiX and IVANS.

The PC-based Company Module™ is used by an insurer to establish and retain direct control over its unique underwriting, edit and data requirements without having to resort to customized editing in vendor systems or other types of proprietary upload.

Two APT offerings enable agencies to receive and apply carrier-defined Company Module edits and upload error-free, industry-standard transactions. Participating management system vendors offer APT agency software in a variety of ways. Some vendors directly integrate the Agency Module™, completely retaining their own look and feel. Others supplement their own screens and forms by offering the Stand Alone Module™ as a tightly coupled component of their systems that furnishes APT data entry screens and printing of ACORD and company unique forms. The Stand Alone Module is also used by insurers to test the accuracy and completeness of their Company Module-developed edits before distributing them to agencies.

COMING SOON

A new APT product, the webSAM™, due in early 1998, will make all facilities of the popular Stand Alone Module available inside Web browsers so that they can be accessible to anyone wishing to conduct SEMCI-style electronic commerce via industry standards through any IP network.*
