Natives of Mount Airy, North Carolina, the Easter Brothers formed their bluegrass and gospel trio in I95I. The mural behind Chase Smith and Christopher Cook is located across the street from Mayberry’s Music Center, operated by surviving group member James Easter, in downtown Mount Airy and was completed in 202I.
